"Pros: Die Aufnahme bei der Ankunft und die Begrüßung waren sehr herzlich. Man bekommt viele Informationen über Sehenswürdigkeiten, Festen usw. Sodass wir viel sehen konnten. Die Gastgeber waren sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit, um unseren Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Die einheimischen Spezialitäten waren sehr lecker und haben uns einen Einblick darin gegeben. Wir waren rundum zufrieden, konnten unseren Urlaub genießen und das Dank Margherita und Giovanni. Wir kommen gerne wieder....

Never again - scam

"Terrible experience. We were two couples and booked 2 double rooms. 2 hours before checking in we received a link to go to a different a accommodation location than the one we booked with no explanation. It was a residence not a hotel. No Reception at new location, nowhere to buy a coffee or water (not even a vending machine), beach was 15 minutes drive by car unlike the hotel we booked. Breakfast was served in a run-down coffee shop15 minutes drive from residence and food selection was dismal. Luckily we had a car. Furniture in balcony consisted of a 2 rusty chairs and table. Defective TV in room only worked a few minutes then stopped. During our stay we noted that other guests at the Residence also experienced the same scam that we suffered. Shame on the Management."

"The hotel is stunning! Location is great and the staff are extremely helpful! Such a beautiful room but not very kid friendly, only reason being that there are stairs to go up to your room, then immediately stairs going down to get into your room, then another small set going to the primary living space. Was a task with a one year old and stroller unfortunately! Besides that, would highly recommend! Parking was on the pricy side and a bit inconvenient considering they close at 11pm. Breakfast, far superior than most places!"

"Such a gorgeous, elegant and luxurious hotel – new and modern but also tasteful and classic, and even better than we had expected. The location is incredible, directly across the road from the steps down to Spiaggia di Cala Rossa, and the option for paid valet parking made it so easy to arrive/check in/check out. Ortigia is small so everything is very walkable after arrival, and we felt like we had the best possible location in town – right on the water but so close to everything. Our room was so comfortable and cool, with views across to the sea – it’s clever to have the window raised above eye level so there’s privacy but also beautiful natural light and the view. All the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a stunning aperitivo in the evening, and breakfast in the morning. Overall, Maniace Boutique Hotel is up there with some of the loveliest modern five-star hotels we’ve stayed at around the world."

"Our stay was perfect. We came for our honeymoon and the service, location, and customer service was impeccable. The staff anticipate your every need, super helpful and friendly, professional, and outstanding. The food at breakfast was delicious and the hotel itself feels so boutique yet polished. Will definitely tell everyone about this hotel and will stay here again! Best holiday we’ve ever been on. Grazie ancora!"
