Villa Vela Hotels

"What an oasis to retreat to for a few nights during our 10 day Sicily road trip. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms and property were impeccably clean and inviting. Highly recommend."

"Beautiful and peaceful property. A dream. We did not want to leave. The pool area and gardens are gorgeous and so relaxing that we decided to take a break from visiting and simply enjoy the pool. Family owned hotel and owners are so nice. Central to Noto, Syracusa, beaches and Ragusa. A car is needed but parking is free. Also a Fantastic place as a venue for any celebration, birthday, wedding… "

"Had a Great Stay and Visit"

"Location is off the beaten track but provides great views and a peaceful location. Lots of work had been done to create this place and we understand that lots more is in the pipeline which is great. Lovely welcome on arrival and very helpful and informative staff. If you have use of a car, then we found this was a great base for exploring the south eastern parts of Sicily."

"A little gem on the outskirts of Avola town centre. Buffet breakfast with homemade specialities. Direct walking distance to the beach or town square. English speaking lovely hosts who are very keen to answer any questions. There are local bus services for all connections to other areas to visit like Sirucusa , Noto etc and also a direct bus to Cantania airport which runs hourly: tickets are to be pre-booked at Via Dante 9 and the bus stop is just over the same square Piazza Triestre. "Warm welcome and outstanding food! We purchased the dinner and found it spectacular. Her local specialties were so delicious and so many! So many of the appetizers were of local farms and recipes of the area. And Breakfast was extra special with warm local ricotta and delicious fruit. Great location for visiting Modica, Ragusa etc"
