"The house was very clean and the kitchen was equipped with many dishes, glasses and cookware. Beds were very comfortable. We had access to the host if needed, which it was not. The special touches they incorporated into the home were wonderful. We stayed there over Easter weekend and the added special touches were very noticeable and much appreciated.We did not have a pet but there is plenty of room for one. They provided fire wood for their fire pit and pellets for their grill, both of which we used. A! They also provided extra lap blankets for sitting outside while having morning coffee. Very nice touch on a cool morning. This host definitely thinks about their client and wants them to have a wonderful experience, which we absolutely did.The house is private and quiet, but not far from downtown and other events. Would definitely stay here again if the need arises."

"The cabin was nicely furnished. The kitchen is FULLY stocked. Excellent location for rest and relaxation. It is not too far from Charlottesville, but just far enough away to get away from city life. Great front and back porch. The owner was easy to communicate with and helpful. "

"Great stay! Beautiful views of the mountains and even had deer come up real close to the house and they were fun to watch. House had everything we needed. It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay. Beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! "

"Very accomodating for my famIly. We got to use the lodge as a family for dinner, movies and just to hang out. Walking around the property, specifically in the evening was nice. Had some heavy wind one day and the cover to the hot tub blew off and actually hit my daughter in the head. She is okay but you may want to check the straps. We did not use it at all. "

"The host was very responsive to my questions. The cabin is gem. It is next to a river in a secluded area in the woods but we went to several wineries. Or, you can just take a walk down to the river and see deer. We would go back to this cabin in a heartbeat. Highly recommend."
