Top Rated River Cabin in the Heart of Nelson County. Close to all attractions!
10/10 Excellent
"The house and property are stunning. Was a perfect long weekend getaway with our besties. Only wish there was water access in front of house, but was only a short walk up the river. Highly recommend this river front property!"

Relax in Nature's Beauty: Private Log Cabin w/ two Spacious, Open Living Areas
8/10 Good
"Beautiful cabin in VA mountains, remote and in the middle of the forrest. It is well furnished and spacious, with all the necessary amenities, including what we needed for our pets (thank you for the crates!).Summer foliage prevented us from enjoying any "scenic view" from the deck, but the surroundings are very quiet and peaceful.Access is quite difficult thru the steepy trail leading to the property, a 4x4 is strongly recommended, especially for the last part!"
Peacefull, private Cabin! 140 acres, mile of river trails! 10 minutes to Rt.151!
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect quiet solitude is what we hoped for and received it beyond measure. The bed was the most comfortable sleeping experience I’ve had in years. As someone with severe back issues I always worry when we book a vacation. I didn’t need to worry at all. I haven’t slept this much in years. The icing on the cake was watching the meteor shower during its peak on the night of the 12th. With zero light pollution the night sky didn’t disappoint. It was an easy walk on the trail to the river. We saw an osprey in flight going down the river twice. We had on two occasions twin fawns with their momma visit the front grass area. Bird song all day was the only noise. Our host was so quick with reply’s it was almost instantly. The house/cabin was adorable. It was very clean and had everything we could need. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and were able to completely relax. We had a wonderful time just doing nothing. This exceeded all of our expectations for a much needed vacation from our busy lives. There were plenty of things to do in the area only a quick drive from the property. Whether you wanted to go hiking, kayaking, wine tasting, try craft beer, or hit the distilleries, it all is just a few minutes from the property. Thank you for providing us with the perfect relaxing vacation we so desperately needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent the property again."

Secluded Mountain Cabin Firepit 12ppl
10/10 Excellent
"The house was perfect for a relaxing family vacation. The area was very quiet and peaceful, and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The kids pretty much lived in the large pool. The setup of the house was great, with plenty of places to be together, but also lots of space to spread out and take some time if needed. Maybe our favorite thing was watching the abundance of deer that would gather in the meadow each night at dusk. There was even one particularly friendly deer who made her way right into the yard by the pool several times a day to say hello. This was a great place to stay for our vacation, and I would highly recommend it."
