"Valet Parking: I stayed at the hotel for two (2) nights and utilized Valet Parking, which offered in-out privileges. I was texted a link to retrieve my vehicle when ready, and it worked fairly well. When I returned the vehicle a second time, I was not resent another link. I went to retrieve it a second time using the same link, but it was inoperable. I think it would be a better option to use txt features for your vehicle, instead of the link -unless you can use the link for multiple days instead of having to receive a new txt link each time you return the vehicle to Valet during your stay. Bedding: The mattresses are hard. They are not very comfortable if you are not used to sleeping on a hard mattress. Restaurant (FL Restaurant): Limited Selections, if you choose to dine there. Breakfast was satisfactory."

"We had a great stay at River Hill Home. The home is thoughtfully decorated, with personal touches (including paintings by the owner). Appliances are modern and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, etc. The location is very convenient--a short walk to VCU--and street parking was always available. We also really enjoyed chatting with Tom--he and his family are lovely people!"

"The room was very dirty. Stains everywhere. Dirty rag outside the door. I felt dirty the whole time I was staying there but thankfully it was only one night. I would never return. I don't usually leave reviews but I'm taking the time to leave this one, so no one makes the same mistake I did. "

"Everything was excellent. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Social hour on Wed with complimentary wine and appetizers was a pleasant addition to our stay. Very clean room and quiet parking is easily accessible but $25 a night. Would stay here again. It’s downtown"
