About this property
The Roundhouse has an unusual design and stands alone overlooking the lakes.
Tucked between the golden sands of Polzeath and the charming village of St Minver, The Roundhouse is a unique, architect-designed retreat for up to ten guests. With sweeping countryside views, dramatic open-plan living, and a peaceful garden setting, it's the perfect base for family adventures, coastal walks, and unforgettable evenings beneath the Cornish stars.
With its striking circular architecture and peaceful setting in the Roserrow development, The Roundhouse is a truly memorable holiday home arranged over three beautifully appointed floors. Ideal for families or friends sharing, the layout is spacious and sociable while still offering plenty of privacy.
On the ground floor, you'll find two well-designed bedrooms: one with bunk beds, ideal for children, and another with a king-size bed and futon, perfect for a young family. A convenient family shower room is located nearby, as well as a fully equipped utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, essential after sandy beach adventures.
The first floor is the heart of the home. Its impressive open-plan, wraparound design creates a bright and airy living space, with a comfortable sitting area complete with TV and wood-burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, two fridges, a freezer, dishwasher, and microwave—perfect for preparing anything from light lunches to celebration dinners. The large dining table seats ten, while French doors lead to a stunning balcony and decked terrace, a magical setting for al fresco meals or sunset drinks.
Upstairs on the second floor, the main bedroom features a king-size bed and a generous en-suite bathroom. Two further bedrooms (a double and a twin) share a stylish family bathroom, all offering lovely elevated views across the surrounding countryside.
Outside, The Roundhouse boasts a private lawned garden with a patio area and charcoal barbecue for outdoor dining.
Being situated on Roserrow Estate, you are just a short stroll from the The Point at Roserrow Golf and Country Club boasting a restaurant and bar, tennis and paddle court, 18 hole golf course and health club offering a gym, spinning room, indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Polzeath beach is just a 15-minute walk along public footpaths.
Additional Information: Sorry, no pets. There is a shallow stream at the bottom of the garden, please do supervise children. Please note that the facilities at The Point are not included; please contact them directly for bookings and costs.
