"We stayed in the Dixie cottage. It was very nice and clean. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The pool and hot tub was great. We had a nice continental breakfast every morning. If you like to walk it is in walking distance to downtown Saugatuck. We had a great time. "

"Cute and clean farm house. It has a big yard with a nice outdoor areas to hang out including a covered porch (we sat outside when it rained) and a fire pit area. The neighborhood was nice, the neighbors were nice and came out to meet our dog. We walked to the downtown (Douglas) area easily. Our dog was welcomed just about everywhere. The waterfront across the street was also a nice walking area. I don’t think anyone would walk to Saugatuck from there, It’s about a ten minute drive. This house would be great for a family with kids, a few couples or a friends trip. The room with the daybed, kids could sleep in but I don’t see an adult able to sleep well on the little bed. Also, because it’s an older home it wouldn’t be good for someone with balance issues. There is some uneven floors upstairs. The hosts were very nice and we had good communication. This house is in a great quiet location. I wish we would have made it back to the cute wine bar/ gallery across the street. Next time! "
