Island Sands 612 is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo located on the 6th floor accessible by an elevator. This condo can accommodate up to 4 guests with a king-size bed in the master bedroom and two twins (that can be converted to a King) in the guest bedroom. The master bedroom boasts spectacular ocean views, an ocean view lanai, and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. You can enter the master bathroom through the master bedroom or living room area. The master bedroom also features large sliding doors that open fully to the living room, creating a spacious wide floor plan and combining the living room and master bedroom floor-to-ceiling slider windows for panoramic ocean views! The guest bedroom has an en suite bathroom with walk in shower and a privacy door in the hallway that can be closed to create a completely separate living area enclosing the front door, guest bedroom, and guest bathroom. A washer and dryer are located in the condo for added convenience.

There is a brand new split A/C in the living room and guest bedroom (covering the front and back of the condo), ceiling fans, and wonderful ocean breezes. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for making meals where you can enjoy ocean views while you prep! Panoramic ocean views with dramatic Haleakala in the distance! This top floor, end unit is sure to impress. Five miles of perfect sandy beach where turtles love to play await below. During the winter months, sit front row on our expansive lanai as many whales breach in view. Walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions from this resort. In the evening, enjoy beautiful sunsets and the twinkling lights of Kihei and Wailea in the distance. Island Sands Resort is located in central Maui, making it easy to explore all other corners of Maui. This condo comes equipped with a TV and complimentary WiFi.

Island Sands Resort is an oceanfront resort that offers a pool, BBQ area, and koi pond. This resort is located at Ma'alaea Bay, near many attractions, shops, and restaurants. Walk to Maui Ocean Center (Aquarium), take a sunset sail or whale watching tour from the nearby harbor, play miniature golf and more at Maui Golf & Sports Park, or shop at the Maui Harbor Shops. Ma'alaea is located in central Maui, bringing you closer to many excursions such as Hana or Haleakala. There are no resort or parking fees.

Fantastic!!

We had a wonderful stay here at island sands. Beautiful views of the sunrise over the bay with daily sightings of sea turtles and humpback whales. We enjoyed the location which was central to most of the island and walkable to the harbor. We hope to return soon.

Amazing condo!

I’ve stayed in four condos in Maalaea and I will say that this one was by far the best. The double balcony with a great view was superb. It was just what we needed and wanted for our island getaway. The location is central so it’s easy to get over to nearby towns. We loved walking on the beach every morning.

Whale of paradise

Cleanest condo ever rented. Gorgeous view, nice little beach, lovely pool (I didn't use, but walked by on the way to beach). Decorated cozy with different scene of Hawaii. Whales from our balcony each day ! We're here end of Feb.

Listen to the waves

Beachfront with sounds of the waves. Great management company, easy communication. Very clean. Maybe replace carpet in the 2nd bedroom to match the rest of the condo? A/C condenser on lanai puts out a lot of heat from the fan, maybe put a small diverter wall so it doesn’t blow onto the table and chairs? Overall a very pleasant stay.

Island Sands

The condo was convenient to many locations being that it’s centrally located. We are long time Lahaina and north travelers and enjoyed this new to us location. The beach out front it pretty to look at but to rocky for swimming or beach access. The condo has a great water view and is well equipped to cook at home. The beds are comfortable but not the common area furniture. Only one comfortable chair. We liked everything except they told us just days before arrival that the pool would be closed 3 if our 7 days. Had we known this ahead of time we definitely wouldn’t have booked this condo. The pool tiles are chipped and in need of repair that wasn’t what they were fixing so beware of pool closures if your pool people.. also the pool is very small .

Top floor views, turtle spotting from the lanai.

Lovely condo, views were amazing looks out across the bay at Haleakalā. Loved looking off the lanai to the sea turtles playing in the waves everyday. Easy walk to the Maui ocean center and the shops and restaurants at Maaleah harbor center. There are also a Starbucks and mini golf on walking distance. The condo was fully equipped with towels for the beach and bathing. Beach chairs and coolers were also available for a fun day at the beach also in walking distance to the unit. There were a couple of issues but nothing that was a deal breaker or warranted a lower rating. The trade winds were unusually strong during our stay so the bathroom exhaust fans constantly squeaked and banged, had to keep bathroom doors closed to lessen noise. The rolling shades did nothing to stop the morning sun so be prepared to rise early. The assigned parking spot is next to check in and the elevators, people would block or park in the spot. Very inconvenient. On site management apologized but there was very little they could do when they were closed and it was 10:00pm. Did call office each time but again they were closed so received no response until the next day.

Great property with beautiful views. Stayed with my husband and two boys. The boys loved watching the turtles in the bay. Not a swim beach on the property, but plenty of places close by.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The condo was spacious, having two bathrooms was great. Everything we needed was provided. The location was within walking distance to some shops and restaurants and central to most of the things we planned to do.

Great quiet central location on the island. Fantastic view! Pleasantly surprised by the turtles that frequent the shore and flounder around in the waves all day. The condo was spacious, comfortable, clean and perfect for our home base during our stay in Maui. Would definitely recommend.

The location and view from the lanai is spectacular. We would watch the sea turtles every day. Some furniture is in need of replacement- two patio chairs were unusable. The property manager replaced the chairs as soon as they received permission from the owner but it took a couple days. The couch is uncomfortable but the beds were nice. Carpet in second bedroom is stained and there is paint chipping in the 2nd bathroom shower. I think the place could use some minor maintenance and it would be perfect.

Exactly what we were looking for

This is our 4th trip to Maui staying in the Maalaea area. Love the quietness of the area and this property had everything we needed (and more) for an enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Well equipped condo for a family stay with wonderful view

Wonderfully located condo with nice extras like beach chairs, cooler, towels and even a pack and play for our youngest. All these added things helped make our stay a great one.

Great spot on Maui

Fantastic place on Maui. Great location that is convenient to everything. However, the area isn’t that built up, so it’s also quiet. Unit itself is perfect with everything thing you need plus an amazing view. Would definitely stay again.

Great Condo! We really enjoyed it. There really isn't a beach at the condo which we were expecting but we really enjoyed watching the sea turtles from the balcony.
