"Brilliant location and spotless room and main areas. The rooms are slightly dated and the hotel could use some TLC on the walls and ceilings in some locations. The bar was great as was the breakfast but we didn't use the restaurant. The grounds are extensive and lovely to see the bunnies hopping round. The location is also top notch and we will return next time we visit Keswick."

"Staff were all very helpful. Our very clean and comfortable room on the third floor had a wonderful view over Hope Gardens, Catbellsand beyond. Breakfast was very good. Really convenient car par parking but we were rather confused as whether or not it was free to hotel residents. No decaf tea available. A lounge would have been nice."

"Great bed and breakfast. Paul and Nicky could not do enough for you . Breakfast was beautiful great choice of cereals and hot food . Room was spotless as was dining room and lounge . Car parking was a bonus would highly recommend this bed and breakfast."

"The property was exactly what we needed as it was difficult to find a 4 bedroom house in Keswick for a reasonable price. We also liked the option of having twin beds in one of the bedrooms rather than a king-size bed. Parking was a bit tricky but we expected that. The communication from the company was excellent and if we return to Keswick we will book this house again."

"We had a lovely stay at Anley cottage, everything we needed was there (apart from a vegetable peeler ) and we loved the quirky decor. The beds were wonderfully comfortable but considering the heat it would have been handy to have the option of lighter bedding. It didn't matter too much, we just slept on top of the duvets. The street was very peaceful, apart from a visiting hedgehog which we had to rescue out of our recycling. All in all we had a stay at this property and would highly recommend it!"
