"This was a really maginificent place to stay in the heart of Morpeth. It's in a fabulous historic building. The rooms are big, the bed is comfy and there's a great guest lounge. A lovely continental breakfast is included. The owner is wonderful and very helpful. This definitely THE place to stay in Morpeth."

"It's an older hotel but with modernisation, it's not creaky. A big dining room kitchen for shared use. Eat as much cereal, toast with vegemite, honey or jam, tea and coffee as you like. Their words! The rooms are cleans with a basin, a TV that works , comfy beds and an A/c that works by pushing one button."

The room was newly renovated, clean, with nice hot shower and all amenities that we needed for our stay for a few days at an effortable price. We also liked the outdoor pool. It is at a quiet location, we couldn't hear anything from our neighbours so we could rest well. The location is close to Newcastle and not far from Port Stephens. Thank you! "

"Thornton is a lovely location. We stayed in The Arnott room which I would call a suite - lounge, bedding etc. the room is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, cups, mugs, saucers for two people. Bathroom is spacious. Free wifi was good. Would stay again. "
