Stayed for one night in Room 8, room was clean, spacious and well equipped looking out onto the garden. Full English breakfast was really good, although tea and coffee were extra cost. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Overall a great short stay, we will definitely visit again!

Room was good, bed comfy, shower worked well. It’s in the middle of town so there is some noise, especially on a Saturday night, but to be expected. Checking in was easy although it would have been helpful to have two room keys. The woman on the desk did not seem entirely in the same world as everyone else. Parking can be a problem but usually can park in town square (which you need to pay for, either in cash/card or by downloading the local app). Place fairly clean, tables for breakfast slightly sticky. Breakfast quite good and breakfast service excellent. Would stay there again.

Lovely old pub. Tired rooms. Staff lovely.

Breakfast buffet is quite limited but adequate. Toast, jam, assorted fruits, sausage, bacon, eggs, beans and hash browns. Scrambled eggs would have been better. Room was quite large but old. Peeling paint on the baseboard, old granny wallpaper and a bathroom from 1980. The toilet won't flush without a lot of extra effort. Air conditioner would have been appreciated. It was 81 degrees (27) and stifling in the room. This hotel needs updating desperately. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and the landscape is stunning
