Overall pleasant accommodation although the arrival/ check in process was a little bit confusing, not helped by the poorly lit surroundings. Rooms are modern, warm and cosy, although pillows didn’t have cases and quite a bit of the previous guest’s hair on both the pillow and in the shower.

Very well appointed and modern rooms forming extension to Uptop House behind York Cottage. Great for stop off on longer journey but not clearly visible from main road. Breakfast by arrangement. Owners very helpful.

Peacefully enjoyable.

Wonderful hostess who kept me informed throughout and went the extra mile to make my stay great. House is wonderful and very peaceful. Bedroom was large with very comfy bed and the bathroom was awesome. Underfoot heating so showering was excellent. Once the light went out you couldn’t see you hand in front of your face. Perfect nights sleep on both nights and full use of kitchen when required. A real gem.

Despite all the information you have about the location accommodation, I found it very difficult to locate. However when I finally arrived, the host was very welcoming and the accommodation was very warm. The only thing I noticed was that there were invoices from probaly a previous occupant in one of the bedroom drawers and some earpods left in the lounge. Maybe their cleaner needs to be more vigilant.

This is a wonderfully comfortable and mega clean space. Worth noting you can't just wonder into the spa it is an extra charge, and the rooms are set back and linked to the main house. Great for one night but even better if your staying for a week as the three rooms have acess to a communal kitchen that is also spanking new and very clean!
