Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old
Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again.
The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.
A grand but homely place to stay with a particularly welcoming and interesting owner of the beautiful property, the only downside was the rather poor road access, but it was really worth taking the bumpy road to the prperty
Bright friendly welcome with tea and biscuits. The gardens are extensive and lots to interest. The house feels like a medieval manor although is C19 Tudor revival. The bedroom had everything needed and mercifully no television, was clean and welcoming. Al in all a lovely stay with a lovely host.
A very special place to stay, with fantastic views
Stayed here during lockdown, An amazing unique 19th century property full of fascinating artifacts. The owner Caro was extremely helpful and even suggested that if i brought my own food she would heat it for me.
