Lovely comfortable stay
Our welcome from was Anne was warm and friendly and the cream tea was delicious - just what we needed after our journey. The shepherds hut was comfortable, clean and cosy and very well equipped. It's located close to both Wells and Glastonbury, in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The view of the sunset over the fields was great, and it was nice to sit outside and relax.
I enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful 2 nights stay at this well equipped hut. Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, it even came with a Shepherd's crook. There was a lovely table outside to dine on, where I watched the sun set, unwinding with a glass of sparkling wine.Very clean and comfortable. Ann, the host was lovely and even picked me up in the lane as I arrived on foot.I thoroughly recommend.
Very good location, Very good stay, Lovely, sit back Relax and Enjoy
If you want a good location, this hut offers you just that, near to all good things to see and do. If you love the outdoors, and fresh farm smell's, this will fulfill that to. All you need is in there, missing maybe small few bits, but you can manage and have a good stay. As you on a farm, and outside, just keep in mind, the hut will get dusty. Lovely setting and area, atmosphere. Host is very helpful, friendly and so nice. We enjoyed our stay a lot, and can definitely recommend this Hut.
Anne was so helpful and really helped made me feel welcome, in spite of a mix up with the email notifications!
Had such a restful stay - the Shepherd's Hut has everything you need and a lovely view of the Somerset Hills from your front door. Will definitely be back
The hut was very clean, Anne was there to meet us when we arrived. She was very friendly and explained everything in the hut. She also provided milk, tea and scones for us. The hut had everything we needed for our stay and was warm and cosy.
Would recommend it for a long weekend.

The perfect place to relax
Our lovely Somerset weekend started off with a warm welcome from Anne who came and collected us from the bus stop despite us getting off at the wrong one (sorry!). There was a yummy cream tea awaiting us in a snug, clean cabin with everything we needed and a comfy double bed. The peaceful, private location on a dairy farm is perfect. Regular bus services from the bus stop at the end of the quiet lane down to Glastonbury (recommend the town and Tor) or up to Wells (change here for the Cheddar bus) and Bristol. Can't fault it!
