With a wood burner to warm yourselves beside after autumn and winter walks and a lawned garden for summer relaxation, it makes a perfect bolthole for anyone seeking, serenity, seclusion and somewhere truly unique to stay.


Tear yourselves away from your picturesque, verdant surroundings and enter to discover airy, elegant accommodation. The main room is a lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom, where you can light the wood burner, go for an evening walk then return to snuggle up in front of your favourite TV programme together before laying your heads on your pillows for a sumptuous night’s sleep in your king-size bed. There is an en-suite shower room next to the bedroom area. Take your morning coffee out into the sunshine of the lawned garden and relax out here too on balmy Norfolk evenings. There is parking for one car at this cottage.


Make forays into Burnham Market, 5.5 miles away, to dine out in gastro pubs, stock up on local produce and soak up the atmosphere of the fashionable village. Drive to Burnham Overy Staithe, 4.5 miles away, to walk just over 1 mile out over the marshes and dunes to the deserted beach. Holkham Beach, which tends to be busier but is known for its spectacular natural beauty, is 2.5 miles from your base. Head 1.5 miles into Wells-next-the-Sea to potter in the shops, buy fish and chips and ice-cream, and stroll 1 mile out towards the sea to go to the beach there.
