"Great nights stay, lovely comfy bed and clean room. Breakfast had great choices with generous portions and the cooked option was delicious. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they gave us a great recommendation for where to go for dinner on the Monday evening that we stayed ( the kitchen is closed on a Monday and Tuesday for dinner) There is a small car park at the side of the hotel and some parking available opposite, we had no problems getting a space. "

"Lovely old fashioned room with a large single bed. Very comfortable bed and an ensuite shower room. All the staff were lovely and friendly and breakfast was delicious. I booked the hotel to use as a base to attend 3 race meetings. Cheltenham on the way up, Liverpool on day 2 and nearby Bangor-on-Dee on day 3. It worked out perfectly and I was even able to visit Wrexham as well, so no complaints from me. "
