"It was a wonderful stay, the room was massive and so clean! It was all arranged so well! The staff was very sweet and professional.. they helped us with genuine care! The food is delicious, and there are walking paths around the property if anyone is interested in any forest trails. There's also a small region for kids to play around. Wonderful property, thank you! "

"Clean room, lots of free parking, great location in heart of town and beneath Montgomery Castle. The staff were lovely, food was excellent with priority on using local ingredients and beer and wine. Superb value for money as well. Would not hesitate to return to The Dragon Hotel in future!"

"We chose the cottage for easy access to dramatic walks, and a wonderful fire to come home to at night. It was cosy and spacious, and we loved waking to the sound of sheep and baby lambs in the morning. Had good outings to the nearby town of Bishop’s Castle and NT Powis Castle a bit further afield. The underfloor heating in the boot/utility room was genius, and what an ideal was to enter with mucky dogs! Just wish we’d had more time & more sunshine. :)"

"The property was as beautiful as it was in the pictures with lovely grounds and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Unfortunately though, the outside of the property was swarming with wasps so unable to keep doors and windows open and nor could you fully relax in the hot tub. My partner got stung on the first night. Also there was a trap in the corner of the bedroom which made us feel uneasy sleeping at night. And the window above the bed did not have a blackout blind so was woken early every morning. And lastly to add there was a sticky fly trap hanging abaove the kitchen filled with flies which i felt was unhygenic as they kept falling off. Contacted the property regarding these matters but no response."
