"Extremely pleasant and accommodating staff. Room was clean and warm as was the en-suite. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of various tea and coffee sachets available in addition to milks and sweeteners etc. Breakfast was freshly cooked to liking. Although I had no problem parking, the car park is small with limited street parking opposite, which potentially could be an issue during busy periods. Overall, staying at The Talbot was an excellent experience. "

"The Ramparts is a wonderful, comfortable pet friendly accommodation. It offers amazing views, particularly in the upstairs rooms. As well as the views, it is spacious, very clean and warm with excellent facilities. It offers great value for money.We have been to Montgomery many times and always enjoy the peace and tranquility as well as the beautiful countryside and walking. The shops in Montgomery are well worth a visit. The Dragon Hotel has good food and excellent service if we don’t want to cook or drive. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay. The fruit loaf, milk etc. on arrival is a perfect additional touch. We hope we’ll see you again soon."
