"Comfortable room but water pressure in the shower and basin was not adequate. The room was also rather too hot and stuffy, relieved only by keeping the curtains partially open which meant that we had to put up with the car park lighting (which was on most of the night). We suggest asking for a room at the back of the hotel."

"Loved the beautiful and nicely appointed Blue Room 💙 It was comfortable and had a roomy bathroom with a heated towel bar on a timer. Miss Julie straightened up every day and left us clean towels and topped off the supply of homemade Scottish shortbread. Breakfast was amazing; continental plus she'll cook anything else you could want. And, there are homemade jams 😋 The former manse is absolutely charming and homey and Miss Julie and Mr. Richard are completely lovely hosts."

"Lovely big family room, only downside was shower needed some attention along the bottom, possible new silicone. Food in bar was lovely, vegetarian breakfast was bit disappointing, veggie sausages slightly over cooked and poached eggs overcooked. Overall nice place to stay"

"Away from the main city . Hotel location is quiet silent , lot of green farms behind the hotel.Hotel building is very old but well maintained . Hotel foods are very nice also the staff’s are fantastic and very helpful. They can improve cleaning in parking area and external stairs and inside corridors. Overall it’s a nice place to short stays"

"Great property ideal base all the essentials provided. One aspect is depends on electronic media for info. Would have been better to have written laminated instructions about the bins cooker etc. info on local amenities and places to visit. Etc. didn’t get email about what to do until second day and didn’t see it until late on. Just a point for us oldies who like to read things!!"
