"This condo was a real gem! Everything you might need is provided including information about places to see and nearby restaurants . The space was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed every moment and would come back again in a heartbeat. It was nice to have off street parking and laundry as well."

"This is a fantastic place to stay if you enjoy being close to great trails, a cute little town with good restaurants (not chains and junk food), and you like having a place that doesn’t share walls with others. The king bed was super comfy, living room, dining and kitchen has everything you need plus puzzles games and more. I recommend wearing at Red Sky if you enjoy a delicious fancier dinner and Beal’s for fresh lobster is not to be missed. We ate at Beale one night and brought carry out back to the place another night. 3 outstanding hikes within a7 minute drive and low traffic on this side! I highly recommend this over Bar Harbor. We enjoyed one evening over there but high traffic and lots of crowds over there. Parking is tough in BH but not in Southwest Harbor! We walked to Red Sky for dinner. I highly recommend staying here."

"Soon as we opened the door we could smell the clean!! It was a lovely townhouse. Southwest Harbor is a quiet community but yet still has part of Acadia. We enjoyed the hiking trails on that side of the island. The townhouse was located to where we could stop off there between activities. I would definitely recommend it."

"Our family had a fantastic stay at Woodland Cottage in Southwest Harbor. The kids loved playing outside—the space was really nice and perfect for them. Hot water and the shower were excellent after long days exploring and hiking. The cabin is close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor that we could easily hop over for hikes, seafood, and all the coastal charm. It is in walking distance to shops and restaurants in Southwest Harbor. Our host, Vicki, is informative and quick to respond, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.Highly recommend for families looking for a great base near Acadia!"

"Immaculately clean and amazing location! Thoughtful layout with everything we needed - and a well stocked kitchen! Easy parking and short walk into town. We so enjoyed our stay and were able to do some hiking in Acadia and see all the incredible fall colors! We appreciated the information Ed provided and the binder of suggested places to explore and dine! Dinner and a movie at the Reel Pizza Cinerama in Bar Harbor - so fun! The photography artwork in the rooms by the owner was really beautiful as well. Thank you thank you for a perfect family getaway!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Southwest Harbor house. It was cozy and the view from the deck was stunning. The space was perfect for the two of us and the supplies were very generous. The host was very responsive to our calls. This is the place to stay if you want a quiet experience but very close to everything available in Arcadia National Park."
