"I didn’t have very high expectations because I could tell that the hotel seemed dated. But turned out to be way better than expected. The location was really great. We actually were able to walk to the small Botanical Gardens nearby. My two sons enjoyed swimming in the pool. Also the Nor’easter restaurant was fantastic."

"Great location with easy travel to Bar Harbor and Acadia. So glad to be in Southwest Harbor, which is much less busy. This unit is easily walkable to downtown restaurants and shops. Could not ask for more of this unit. So grateful to have laundry and dishwasher and full oven/ stove. Incredibly well stocked with all the amenities that you could need. Beds were comfortable. Nice towels. Great water pressure. You can enter from stairs in the back or from ground level in the front. Nice sized deck in the back from which you can watch the boats in the water. Parking is close, right outside. Very clean. No weird smells. All the extras you could think of such as umbrella, backpack, fan, coffee pods. Incredibly responsive and accommodating host. Plus the decor was really cute and appropriate to the area. Strongly recommend. 10/10"

"Had a great stay. Cottage was in a great location and a very short walk to the shops and restaurants of Southwest Harbor. Being set off the road in the woods the unit was quiet and peaceful with deer and ducks wandering on the property. Many puzzles and games to keep the family occupied at night. Given no rentals within Acadia National Park, this was a great location to be able to go back and forth to the park and trails."

"Very cute and comfortable, great location for walking into town. Main Street is very busy during the day so this may not be the best location if you want something quiet, but it was great for our family to get into town and check everything out!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this property in Southwest Harbor!. The location was perfect, with easy access to local shops and restaurants. The property was exceptionally clean, and the host provided fantastic amenities that made the stay even better. Having convenient parking was also a huge plus. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again."

"This house was perfect for our family of 7! It is tucked away in the quaint town of Southwest Harbor, which is a nice spot to explore Acadia and be away from the busy town of Bar Harbor. Luke and Jackie are right next door and were the perfect hosts. They were helpful with tips of where to go and anything we needed they provided. We especially loved our visits from Lucy - their friendly black lab!"
