"The location on the beach was amazing! To watch the waves on the porch was so relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked for everything you could want. It is a 10 minute drive to town so if you’re looking to walk to the action this would not be the place to stay. But if you’re looking for relaxing beach time with minimal people around this is the place for you! "

"We enjoyed our stay at Rene's home very much. The pool and hot tub were amazing! I was a bit disappointed with the Galveston beaches so I spent many days floating around the beautiful pool. The landscaping around the pool made me feel as though I was on a tropical island. The house was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our week, We loved spending time on the back deck enjoying the view of the river/canal and all the beautiful birds. We ate breakfast there every morning. The sunsets in the evenings from the deck were beautiful. I would recommend this home without hesitation. Rene was a great host and very easy to get in touch with when we had questions. "
