"This is our second stay at this property after an amazing first stay last year. All the amenities and prime location continue to make this a worthy stay for our group. Judi, the host, has always been so helpful and accommodating. The duffy boat around Lido and Balboa can't be beat for a great weekend getaway!"

"Jason was amazing and the communication was outstanding..the unit has stunning views. The property needs a little luving. The glass to the views has not been taken care of properly. I understand it is hard off the coast but we have stayed at a ton of vrbos on the coast and the glass was kept immaculate. The outdoor gate to the beach was broken, which is a problem with smaller children.. There are a lot of items that need fixed."

"This is a laid-back beach vacation home, not fancy, but well supplied. What is spectacular about it is the location. You cross the street, and you are on a beautiful beach, frolicking with friendly locals. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, and has a front patio area for enjoying morning coffee while watching people bicycle by with their surfboards. The supplied boogie boards and other beach equipment save you the hassle and expense of renting them, which is invaluable in our estimation. The host was easygoing, and made check-in and check-out flexible and uncomplicated with our travel schedule, which we truly appreciate. The place is quite spacious. It seems we came during unusually hot weather, so the air conditioner in the living room had a hard time, and the bedrooms were pretty hot for sleeping, even with fans to move the air around, but presumably that’s not the case when there isn’t a crazy heat wave. If you can accept that some things may not be in great repair, the tradeoff is remarkable beach access for a comparatively reasonable price."
