"The location of the hotel itself is very convenient, there’s a bus stop across the road that takes you into town and to the ferry terminal as well as parking available onsite. Staff were very friendly and helpful when issues arose. Our shower drain was not draining and there was a leak from the AC unit but the staff were quick to assist with a room change which we greatly appreciated. The rooms are fairly clean but the building is aging, illustrated by a leak in the hallway ceiling, but the staff do their best to keep things clean and maintained. The breakfast was very good, we were expecting a breakfast buffet or a simple continental but turned out to be a sit down/order off the menu situation (included with room) with great hours (6:30 - 11:00). Overall, decent budget option for a trip to Halifax/Dartmouth."

"I was on a conference call and had to go down to the foyer while I was on my headset but I was chased around by a person running the powered floor cleaner so I was hiding in all these little places to try and hear what was going on it wasn't the fault of the place but I was looked upon as being a bit of a character hiding in all these areas to try and hear what the conversation was I don't think she realized what was happening when she was chasing me around with the big vacuum LOL"

"There was a constant hummming noise in the room. Why don’t they include the parking in the price? And why not valet parking,long walk back if you’re elderly. Pillows and bed too soft. Soap doesn’t foam,bottles for shampoo etc all cracked for usage. Room is small,crown molding wasn’t continued around the room,aesthetically looks terrible. Staff nice. Way overpriced for what?"
