The property is in a great location in North Vancouver, right by the water. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Staff was friendly and very professional. Bed was comfortable but the room could definitely use an upgrade. Breakfast option was terrible, the milk was curdled for the tea and coffee and they had nutri grain bars as an option to eat. Other than the friendly staff and the location not worth the money

We loved our short stay at Smithe House! It felt like we were staying in a high-end, new-build condo instead of a hotel room. All the finishes and touches were thoughtful, and the staff checked in frequently via text, which was helpful when we had initial troubles getting into the parking garage. We will be back!

The pool was great which is why I’m rating this as a three and not a two. They need to powerwash the concrete walls where they are exposed and clean the black mold out of the steam room in the women’s pool restroom. The check in process was great and all the female workers were very friendly and kind.

"Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. The shuttle driver was another story. He was late picking us up and dropped us off a long way before the correct terminal, saying that it was much closer to the entrance than it actually was. Seats were filthy. Not sure if the service is contracted ..."
