Mary was a terrific host- very attentive and helpful. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Great location on the Cape- a short drive to a lot of great beaches, attraction, and shopping. This was a great spot for a girl's weekend!

From the start to finish communication was excellent. The house is so cute and charming! Super clean and the attention to all the needs while visiting were met! The kitchen, beautifully renovated. Appliances so clean again the attention to detail surpasses all my expectations! The location was excellent.. easy to get anywhere on the Cape. We enjoyed our stay! And blessed with great weather!

Our family loved our stay at Sandtrap! Mary's home is very welcoming and very well organized- plenty of hooks, hangers, baskets, blankets, she's though of everything! We cooked many meals in the kitchen and grilled out in the back yard! The back garden is beautiful. The beach gear and wagon made trips to the beach and kettle ponds super easy. Location was great, we visited many of the townships and nothing was too far away.

The perfect Cape Home for a getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Sandtrap! It is perfectly located a short walk to the beach, putt putt, and a short drive away from restaurants, other towns, with plenty to do/explore. We had so much fun for the weekend staying here- it is a beautiful home that is very cozy and lots of space! Mary is so delightful and quick to respond and provided all the information and support we needed before, during, and after our stay. Would recommend this property to any family looking for a vacation home in Cape Cod!

Great BFF trip

The cottage was very welcoming and cozy. We had everything we needed for relaxed evenings after days of sightseeing and shopping. Convenient to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely enjoy staying again next year.

Wonderful Cape Cod Getaway!

Mary was a wonderful host! She was responsive and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was in a great location to venture out to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard and was a quick ride to Chatham and Provincetown. Also, the beach down the road was gorgeous and convenient. Loved loved the stay!!

Mary’s house was fantastic and in a great location. The house is very cheery and the backyard is divine to sit in. Mary was very communicative and check-in was easy. She was also very helpful with giving feedback as to where to go.

The perfect girls weekend

Empty Nester Trip

I’ve stayed in many rental properties on my travels and this home is at the top! From the kitchen/home supplies to the decor - this home has been crafted with intention at every turn. The cottage was cozy and plentiful, and the outdoor space was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring! Anything and everything we needed was already provided and Mary gave us some great tips and places to check out in and around the Cape. The property is close to beaches, retail and the ferry, which was ideal for our day trips to the islands. We ate our weight in seafood (Mary recommended the seafood stew at Spankys Clam Shack and it was the best meal of our trip!). Mary pulls out all of the stops to make her guests comfortable and her communication is exemplary. Don’t miss out on this gem!

Very clean and cute place to stay

This was a very clean and cute place to stay. It is very comfortable and has everything you would need or want from everything in the kitchen if you want to cook in or have a cookout to everything in the bathroom that you would need. Very quiet neighborhood. The owner is very friendly and very helpful with information for the area and for Martha’s Vineyard. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Beautiful home, great location

This home is beautiful and perfectly located within walking distance of a beach and mini golf. The home was one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at with beautiful decor or thoughtful touches. Communication with the host was easy and responses were prompt. I would highly recommend.

Comfortable, very clean Cape Cod escape!

Four adults stayed very comfortably in this beautiful home. We loved this house as a base for exploring all of Cape Cod! The location allowed us access to basically anywhere we wanted to travel in a short amount of time. The host was very responsive and helpful with questions we had! The house was the most clean home we have ever rented. We loved our stay at this home.

Quick getaway

Loved the house - super clean. Comfortable beds. Thermostat locked but owner was very responsive to let us adjust it. Location was tough with lots of traffic.

Mary’s house was extremely clean and had everything that we needed. We appreciated all of the supplies provided that made our stay easy and convenient. It was a bit hard to fully relaxed as there were so many rules and do’s/dont’s.

Perfect home away from home

The Sandtrap was a perfect home away from home for us during our son’s baseball tournament. From the moment we walked in the door we felt so relaxed and comfortable. The Sandtrap is beautifully decorated, immaculate, and has all of the comforts of home and much more. We loved the local mini golf and ice cream right up the road and the central location close to Hyannis Main Street and many local beaches. Mary was a wonderful host and truely thought of everything. We look forward to a return visit!

Great Cape Cottage Close to it All!

Mary’s house was a wonderful and spacious option for us and our little one this summer. We were close to everything we wanted to do in Chatham, Harwich, and Dennis, as well as a 5 minute drive from the ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. Mary also shared out some local spots that we hadn’t been to before, and enhanced our trip. Having come up to the Cape every summer for nearly a decade now, I can say that Mary’s place is one of the best spots we’ve found (and the beds are super comfortable, too!). We hope to return again next year.

Cape Cod Gem

Sand Trap is a beautiful, well appointed and convenient home for your Cape Cod visit! The interior was bright, colorful and so clean! So many thoughtful amenities - beach chairs, beach cooler, well stocked kitchen - you name it- Mary thought of it! We had the most wonderful time with our adult children and their girlfriends. Convenient to The ferry and downtown Hyannis!! We will be back!! Mary was very responsive as well with lots a local recommendations.

Charming and Central

This is a charming, attractive cottage centrally located for exploring all there is on Cape Cod. We were there for the Cape Cod Baseball summer league, driving to a different village around the Cape for each game. Mary’s thoughtful supplies include travel folding chairs which were essential on game nights.The home is extremely well supplied with many thoughtful touches. Host Mary is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Some rooms are tight on space. To use the bed in the alcove of the third bedroom requires climbing in from the bottom. Best for younger members of your party. Be sure to sample some of the many ice cream parlors and enjoy your stay.

Pretty Cottage in W Yarmouth

Well stocked kitchen in both appliances and supplies. Everything for the beach - chairs and towels which we might have used had there not been a hurricane. Lovely main bathroom with roomy shower (one of three). Easy to check in and out. Everything wee needed was there. After a steamy week in New York we could have used a washing machine. Three of us had a lovely time.

Charming beach house

Great location for ferries, restaurants and local points of interest. This house is so cute, cozy and well-appointed you don't really need to go anywhere else to have a relaxing vacation. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay welcoming and enjoyable. The travel brochures were informative to see what is available in the area. We were only there 4 days/nights and were busy with trips to Nantucket and Provincetown, kayaking on the Bass River and enjoying the nearby beach. It was also fun to walk over to the mini golf course, play a round and have their fabulous ice cream concoctions. Treat yourself to the ice cream in the mason jar!

Great Spot!

Sand trap was a great location, nicely updated and clean. 15 min walk to the beach, and easily can walk to restaurants (ice cream and mini golf a min walk away). Mary was very responsive, and she stays on the property. We had two adult couples, setup was okay but the second bed is a tight squeeze (would be harder for older adults to get in and out). Great set up for kids though. Decor is nice but lots of breakables and notes, just had to be careful.

Cape Cod Girls Trip

First, the host, Mary, is incredibly friendly, detail oriented, and very responsive! There were notes and thoughtful touches throughout the house. Instructions very clear and easy to follow. Questions answered quickly! As for the house, it was clean and our small group loved the color scheme and decorative accents. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glassware, keurig and brew coffee pot, etc. The location on the mid cape area made it easy to get to the ferry for Martha’s Vineyard and the dock for a whale watching excursion. A drive to the Outer Cape to Nauset, Truro Vineyard, and Provincetown was an easily doable day trip from the house. Thanks Mary for a great stay for our girlfriend getaway!
