Dans l’ensemble, tout était parfait et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le seul petit bémol concerne l’arrivée avant 15 h : même si la chambre est déjà prête, des frais de 25 £ sont demandés pour pouvoir en prendre possession plus tôt. C’est un détail que nous avons trouvé vraiment décevant.

Booked via Expedia and told to use online check in. Had to contact Hilton to get this added to the app.
Online check in denied as they ‘needed to check ID’, despite this being ticked green as I had done this before at this same hotel. My partner and I were arriving at separate times, so I had to contact the hotel again to get her name added (despite being named as person checking in on Expedia).
When she arrived, she was made to feel awkward and told they will do it ‘just this once’ and that hotels have ‘strict rules’, leaving her feeling embarrassed and like she had done something wrong.
On top of all of this, the hotel charged my card £248 on top of the £360 to Expedia already paid.
When questioned, it was refunded with an excuse of “We should have charged Expedia, not your card” which was an insight into pricing structures.
The digital key opens the iPhone wallet each time which is irritating and a concern.
The hotel and room were very good and of a high standard, but the staff and check in process mean we will not use this hotel again

"The hotel itself was nice but the rooms are a bit dated, no room service is available anymore and not cleaned daily. If it’s a one night stay this would be ok but had to ask for extra towels and stuff for the rooms.we stayed for 4 nights and parking is expensive at the hotel as this is not included ..."
