"I cannot recommend the Highland Bear Lodge highly enough. What a stunning location and place to stay. Everything was absolutely lovely and very unique. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean and quiet, the location is beautiful, with a stunning view in the bay Breakfast is at the nearby hotel, a 10 mins refreshing walk, which is totally worth it, as the hotel serves a very good breakfast cooked to order. The facility is self check in, the indications provided were clear and easy to follow. We had no issues. We really enjoyed our stay and would totally recommend it. "

"Ranald and Caroline were the most excellent hosts! My brother and I stayed here for a few nights and enjoyed the coziness of their bed and breakfast. We also loved that the location was a short walk to the Inverness city center, especially enjoying all of the spring blooms. Each morning Ranald and Caroline provided a lovely breakfast with coffee and tea. They also recommended several places in and around Inverness and were so kind and personable. We really enjoyed our stay! I hope to be back...

"Jackie and Keith were lovely hosts who made sure i had everything I needed for my week-long hiking trip to Loch Ness: a strong hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable room to come home to, daily chekins and timely weather forecast and information on their favourite local trails. Location-wise, 5 stars! I especially enjoyed walking across the street to the Visitor Center for tour bookings, was within a stone throw of Nessie exhibition center, and drove out to do 360 trails around Loch Ness...

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage suited our needs, and we appreciated the amenities in the cottage, including the laundry, kitchen and shower facilities. The setting is lovely and quiet, and we enjoyed walking and exploring the village, the stunning views, and finding sea glass by the shore. It definitely suited our budget as we were able to drive into the Isle of Skye, spend the day, and drive back to the cottage for the night, The cottage is also close to Eilean Donan castle...

"Great location for us and all needed amenities. The view is spectacular and easily a place we would return to. Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. These were minor issues compared to how our holiday went. Thank you."
