Westerleigh Farmstay

St James the Great, Westerleigh. A gateway from the recreation field to the south of the church into the churchyard, carries the dates "1304 - 2004" - this probably indicates the date of the earliest parts of this church - which I would hazard do not include most of what you see in this picture. The tower in particular looks Victorian to me. What I think is the oldest part of the church can be seen here 464276.

"There was a problem with the WIFI, and I couldn’t connect it to my laptop. I was told it was an issue they were already aware of. I couldn’t even use my mobile data because there was no signal inside the hotel. If I had known this before, I wouldn’t have booked my stay there, as I was travelling for work and needed to use my laptop. Fortunately, after some time I managed to connect to the WIFI, although I’m not sure how.... The rest was okay, not perfect, but for the price and the location I think it was fair."
