"Warm, comfortable and spacious rooms and a well-equipped kitchen, this made the perfect base for our surfing trip. Outdoor hose and line for washing and drying kit was great and it was lambing time so that was a delight to see! John & Jane are just lovely, welcoming and friendly they made sure we had everything we needed and lovely to have a chat with. Can't wait to go back!"

"We had a great 2 nights in this spacious farm house. The house was very comfortable and suited us perfectly. We enjoyed being able to walk to the pub for meals in the evening and the location was perfect for walks from Wasdale Head. The landlord provided very helpful instructions and it worked well having the keys sent to us by post. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks very much!"

"Great house for groups. If you take the stable block, that is VERY comfortable and self-contained. The main house has everything we needed for a long weekend. Great social areas and lovely bedrooms. Very close to the main town square with all the shops, pubs and restaurants literally seconds / minutes from your front door. This was our second visit and we'll definitely be back next year!"

"The cottage was perfect for a weekend away in a great location with easy access to the coast and countryside. The cottage was clean and comfortable with enough space for 4 adults. Jo the host was especially helpful and communication between us was excellent. I would recommend this accommodation and hope to stay there again in the future."
