"The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. "Good b&b. Immaculately clean, well located for central Southport. Off street parking a bonus. Room facilities very good - hospitality tray, room fridge, internet TV (bring your Netflix password!). Really nice guest lounge with well stocked honesty bar. Hosts friendly and knowledgeable about local eateries etc. Recommended."

"Lovely location on a working farm. Friendly, approachable staff, nice room with a big comfortable bed. Room was clean apart from a few cobwebs. The breakfast was excellent with a nice range and dare I say it the local black pudding was tastier than what I'd usually get from Bury! Only niggles were, the shower door was a little small for larger people and no hot water from sink tap. "PERFECT stay for Liverpool fans! Can see Anfield from the doorstep and every inch of the place celebrates the Reds! Please note this is a guesthouse, NOT a hotel. It’s not an anonymous experience, but you’ll join in almost like family with the others who are staying.
