"Living away from the area, we wanted a property that would allow us to bring our whole family together over Christmas, including 12 on Christmas day. Croxton House was the perfect location. Spacious but not overwhelming, a dining room big enough for what we needed, a location. That was rural but not too far from local amenities. 10/10 Excellent

"Room was clean and well equipped. Staff were excellent, especially Nick at the bar. Didn't try the restaurant. Hotel generally was clean and well looked after and the grounds are pleasant. In a nice area with good transport into the city, although this is walkable. Only downside was the "nominal" fee for parking was £15 per night. "
