"Booked a few days away to york and stayed in hampton by hilton piccadilly, hotel was lovey, everything we needed, staff very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was in a great location 5 minute walk and we were right in the centre of York. We will definately stay there again. Thank you all for a lovely stay. Lesley & Richard Smith."

"The hotel location is fabulous. Short 10 minute walk from the town. Rooms are large and very comfortable if a bit hot but fan provided immediately when asked for. Breakfast was great. The overwhelming thing though is the staff were fantastic. From the reception to the breakfast staff and the staff looking after the rooms. All super friendly and helpful. Big shout out to breakfast lady who was there each day (sorry didn’t get her name) but she was just lovely "

"The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of all the historic sights of York and for shopping and dining.We could see the city walls from our room and we enjoyed an early evening walk around the city walls.Parking at the NCP car park on Tanner row is very convenient and easily accessible. The staff were friendly and helpful The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and well cooked,tasty hot selections.All was well organised and ran very smoothly. The bar food menu although limited was good and it suited us to stay in to eat after a long day walking and sightseeing. The room was comfortable and clean with everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again for a couple of nights. "
