"The views are AMAZING. I loved our stay, the only thing I would say is the AC is really loud turning on often, the first night was hard to get used to. I kept waking up. Our neighbor was a smoker, when I would go out on the porch to enjoy the view, it smelled like cigarettes and the ash tray she had out there. I’m not a smoker so that did bother me. Otherwise everything else was great, bed was comfortable, couch bed is a little hard but ok. There was a half of a toilet paper roll, so good thing...

Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort Hotel & Casino

"Everything was great, the only issue i had was that the main pool is adults only all day, and the main reason a family usually goes to a hotel is for the pool, and The Riverside prides itself as being family friendly. They do have a kids pool which is smaller and has no food or beverage sales other than vending machines. It is not like there was no alcohol either at the kids pool, you are allowed to bring as much alcohol as you want. Most hotels will have the "adults only" pool as the secondary pool, just in case women want to go top less, or the main pool will go adults only after 9pm or so. Sadly, I will not go back there to stay just for this reason, but other than that the place was very nice."

"Great bargain on a beautiful river. Rooms were nice and comfortable, and the restaurant was excellent (first one on the left as you enter casino from lobby). The shower drain was very slow but that’s the only negative."

"It was great for the price. Stayed on 2 2nd floor where it was renovated supposedly. Not the best but it was fine. Everything worked . Staff was super nice. Close to the lake and bridge."

"We had a 2 bed/2 ba suite. The main bedroom was ok but the 2nd bedroom was very small with no closet and no dresser so clothes had to stay in the suitcase. The kitchen had a full size fridge which was great. It did have 3 pools and my son loved the slide but this pool was very small. The jacuzzi unfortunately was attached to the small kids pool with the slide. The resort was pretty big and having the boat rental attached to the hotel was great. The village attached to the resort was a little disappointing as there were only a few small stores and a few places to eat and the stores all close at 3. The pizza place was Amazing though. Staff was very friendly. Overall we had a good time, it just seemed like the photos and descriptions were a little exaggerated. We would stay there again just with lower expectations."
