"The most affordable stay in the area from what i looked up before booking, was skeptical at first but the stay was great. Arrived in late around 2am and they were good enough to check me in. Clean sheets and right temperature in the room, and the work table was good as well if you are "
"Although this is a “budget” motel, this property is obviously cared for. A detail that stands out is the bathroom, it is renovated with a pedestal sink and tile, not the standard cheap materials. "

"I normally stay at Barkley Lake State Resort but decided to make the extra drive to check out the Pennyrile Golf Course. So glad we did. The lodge was just as beautiful as well as the grounds and the area in general. Will definitely return with couples for more golfing next year. The place was practically empty, not sure why because we had a wonderful stay. You'd think it would be hard to secure a room. I have NEVER seen any marketing or advertising for Pennyrile other than flyers at the park shops. Kentucky sure knows how to run a great State Park system. Kudos. "
