"What can I say. The house in Ponsonby was perfect for our travelling party of 5 (with 2 young kids). Our final stop on a North Island circuit for 5 nights!We had an issue with the hot water not working on Day 1 (due to a blown fuse), however the host organised a technician within 24 hours and also offered a small refund. So a tricky experience was turned into a good one. Communication was 8/10, could have been better if the host was slightly more prompt and accurate with the messages regarding the fixes.The property has old school charm and is extremely functional for any group of travellers. It has everything you might need for a comfortable stay.While these are all on the listing, the things we appreciated that little bit extra were; Ponsonby Rd on doorstep, reverse-cycle heating, the shower was amazing, proximity to public transport, feeling safe welcome in the community.We'd happily stay at The Ponsonby house again. "Great location. 30 min walk to Eden Park. Everything was comfortable, warm and inviting. Loved the extras the host provided. Milk, bread for toast and spreads. Definitely recommend. Thank you so much for a lovely night...even though Ireland lost the rugby."
