"The host, Bart, was so friendly and helpful, and gave us some wonderful ideas of things to do during our stay. The property itself was perfect and exactly what I wanted, quiet and so easy to reach many of the activities that I wanted to enjoy while there. "Room was clean and comfortable with a great view of the mountains from our balcony. Some parts are a bit dated but they have made upgrades where needed, including the excellent pool and spa facilities. Friendly service from all the staff and an excellent breakfast spread - really enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice machine! Location is convenient for driving but is a 15-20 minute walk to central Garmisch. There's a bus stop right outside but it's only hourly (at least in September) so check the schedule."
