"Had a two night Stay here with friends and my sister for her birthday. On arrival, the concierge team were so helpful and friendly, along side checking in. I paid for bed and breakfast, the breakfast was amazing and the choices were fantastic too. Didn’t have dinner here as explored much of York, so can’t comment on that. Everyone were so friendly, said hello and always complimentary. We will be coming back here. "

"Beautifully clean reception area, lounge bar and rooms. Rooms were a good size, well appointed and immaculately clean. Excellent nights sleep thanks to the comfort of the bed and the very effective air con. Staff could not have been more obliging. Concierge/security were alert and looked after the guests very well. Parking literally next door was a godsend and a well equipt Co-Op mini market was a couple of minutes walk away (if not less!). Wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again."

"Exceptional service for the price! The breakfast was delicious with an impressive variety of options. The location couldn’t be more convenient since you can literally roll your suitcase straight in from Leeds train station through the rear entrance. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful. I accidentally left a small bag in my room after check-out, and when I called, they quickly retrieved it and kept it safely at reception for me to collect later. The on-site restaurant on the ground floor is also excellent — tasty dishes with a 10% discount for hotel guests. Definitely worth a try!"

"A nice hotel in a great position. The room facilities were ok, not as good as I would have hoped for in a hotel of this quality. Poor selection of toiletries and the lighting in the room was odd. Breakfast and bar service was very good though I’m not sure why the mocktails are not included in the happy hour pricing! "
