"Chose this property for the proximity to a family wedding, but so glad we did. The accomodation is pure luxury, extremely comfortable, well equipped and with amazing mattresses for a fabulous nights sleep. You are set in the country but with easy access to visit numerous places easily. You can sit and enjoy watching the birds and wildlife. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating and have made a wonderful place to stay. Highly recomend. Thankyou."

We found Jasmine Cottage very well setup and comfortable for our stay, with Angela quick to respond when a few queries for us came up. Local amenities extremely handy, in addition to being a well placed location for trips into York city centre."

"A lovely little property, tucked out of the way 15 minutes walk from one of the gates to the city of York. We parked the car and then left it there. There were local buses but we didn't feel the need to use them. A very modern downstairs bathroom. The stairs were narrow but were aware of this in the comprehensive details. "Very nicely renovated historic property. Fantastic for a family getaway after Christmas. Easy access in to the town center. Plentiful hot water. One observation is that the kitchen was cold/drafty and as we visited in winter this was particularly noticeable. The door to the main bathroom doesn’t close properly but did not impair our usage of the bathroom. Overall a wonderful stay!"

We loved the conservatory- kept beautifully warm by the kitchen range, though cooking with the range was tricky and we didn’t discover the microwave until the final day!
