Crown Quarter hotel stay
To be fair, the hotel information blurb did say that it is a live music venue and open until 2 pm. What they didn’t say is it’s a disco venue with music being played at ridiculously high volume with only a handful of people in the room. I paid €191 euro for the pleasure of a tiny room looking out at a roof with the extractor fan fumes from the restaurant coming through my window which I had to close even though the tiny room was boiling hot (did switch the radiator off)! For that price and no value for money, never again . That said, Wexford is a fantastic town, loved it!!

As you mentioned, we pride ourselves on being the ideal weekend getaway destination, offering fantastic entertainment, dining choices, and a central location in the town centre. On weekdays, our atmosphere is quieter, with rooms starting at a great value of 89 per night and convenient proximity to shops, restaurants, and the quay. It's disappointing to hear that you won't be returning, but I sincerely hope you might reconsider, perhaps for a quieter midweek stay. We'd love the opportunity to welcome you back.

Property and staff were nice. The room overlooked The Crown bar and there is music until 1am on Friday and 2am on Saturday nights. While we knew the bar offered late night music we didn’t realize we would experience that in the room itself. It was as if we were in the bar. There is no soundproofing of the bar or room. Ok if you were out on the town for the night but if looking for an early night that was not an option. Perhaps when there is no music it is a different experience.

The hotel neat, and the room clean and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My wife and I felt the area was a little sketchy, but not so much that we felt unsafe. The one thing that made finding the hotel difficult was the fact that it is located in a promenade. Google maps kept sending us down, streets that were not open. Over all though it was a good stay.

Spacious, comfortable room with fun decor. Comfortable bar and 2 lovely resterants in the building. The room was clean but had an odd smell that made spending time in the room unpleasant. Staff made a note of it but couldn't do anything about it since they were booked up.

Excellent hotel with fab Indian restaurant on 1st floor. Would recommend the special which is three mains (smaller dishes) to give lots of choice. Crown bar also great and staff were excellent. Parking costs £5 for 24hrs which is good value and a very short distance to the hotel.

A Tipperary Couple !
Our stay was perfect as the hotel is lovely, well situated by the quay with easy access to all amenities in Wexford town. The bedroom was quirky with modern finishes...! Bathroom would suit people with a disability as there is plenty of room with walk-in shower 🚿. The staff and manager were absolutely lovely, always ready to make the guests comfortable and contented. The one downfall is parking, not so much parking as it's pay parking. One day it cost us 10 Euro as The Crown Quarter have a discount to 5 Euro where if we had put in the 6 Euro as displayed we would have gotten an all day ticket so advice spend the extra Euro for cheaper parking 🅿️.

Had a good stay! Won't knock the place. Thought it a bit pricey but seems to be the going rate for the accomadation in the ROI. Staff were excellent and we had a good visit.

Nice pub, not too bad on the noise. Smell of Indian restaurant was a bit strong at times and the check in was a nightmare as we were behind a crowd of drunks waiting to check in. Not really the pubs fault

The car parking area was haphazard and slightly disorganised but the staff sorted things out. The e-mail the hotel sent was not correct and we had to go into the cafe pub and ask the staff rather than be sent a code a day before our booking. They couldn't have been more helpful and the room was fine.

Good but small room with great bathroom but noisy!
Beds were bad, room was really hot and only had a fan. It was impossible to have the window upon due to the fact it was directly above the dance floor. Extremely loud until 2am.

My new favourite hotel
Great hotel, loved it. Stylish, comfortable, mod cons, and a coffee machine in the room to boot. Check-in and out was smooth and friendly service. One slight issue is no staff being around out of hours if you need anything for the room - but the lovely woman who was the cleaner was about and got me sorted for what I needed.

Nice, clean, modern hotel. Rooms are cosy, bathrooms are spacious. Close to train station. Close to many food and entertainment options. Word of caution: The hotel is above a lively bar and across from several others. The rooms include complimentary earplugs. That said, with the windows closed I barely heard any noise. No AC. Staff are cordial. Enjoyed the stay.

Very clean Hotel, lovely bar and lounge area, only complaint I have was that the room we had there was a noisy vent outside from the restaurant, this stopped when the kitchen closed , I would stay again
