We had stayed at Driftwood before and found it to be convenient for the town. The welcome is very friendly and a great breakfast offered. The shower could be a bit bigger. That having been stated would stay again.

A real Gem of a family run BnB. Tim and Teresa the hosts have thought long and hard about what guests could need and so everything is perfect. Tim must be an ex chef as the breakfast menu is first class and cooked to order. Location is close to the Weymouth action and far enough away to avoid noise. If you’re wanting a place to enjoy Weymouth and the area, this is a great choice.

The Cumberland is in a fantastic location, facing the sea on the prom. The proprietors, Claire and Mark are fantastic hosts. The breakfast has to be the best in the whole of the UK, not just Dorset. All the little extras like a sweet on the bed, free chilled water etc. just went to make for a very enjoyable stay for our "fossil hunting" visit to the Jurassic coast. I don't think anyone could fail to be happy staying at The Cumberland.

Lovely location and view. Slept to the wonderful sound of lapping waves.
Check-in is strictly before 7pm don’t get caught! I did and with apologies of course as it was a busy work day .
The breakfast was good I took the full English breakfast and it had everything on ( depends on what you tick though so tick away)
I will be back if that’s helpful to others . I did get a full smile in the morning! So yay !!

Great breakfast (packed up up too ) and great start to the day . Friendly staff and convenient bar downstairs yet surprisingly quiet enough . There are ear plugs if you need them but I did not :) definite recommend and a new favourite .
