Traditional seaside town, with usual attractions of fish and chips, tourist shops, cinema, theatre and bars. Worth walking around the harbourside, and visiting Nothe fort. If driving, go up to Portland lighthouse, chesil and Abbotsbury swanery.

Weymouth is the ideal base for exploring the Jurassic Coast. We had a car but there is a local bus that also goes to the main tourist spots along the coastline. It is difficult to describe the beauty of this area.

Plenty to do and see. Interesting gardens to visit and beautiful countryside. Portland is worth a visit and also Nothe Fort and the Jailhouse Cafe. The views from both were stunning. Good, clean beaches.

I enjoyed walking along the promenade from the Sealife Centre to the Harbour. The Sealife Centre is worth a visit, as well as Sand World and the crazy golf.

Love weymouth. The harbour is so interesting and vast. Boat rides and speedboat rides available every day. Donkeys and punch and judy on the beach. Shame there are fair rides on the beach itself and the actual esplanade. Spoils it . Town is good.

Great base for driving around Dorset with excellent restaurants. It's a small seaside tourist resort full of charm and is perfect for a short romantic getaway only 3hrs from Heathrow by car.
"Was upgraded to a lovely sea view room. South African chap on reception very friendly and informative. Everything was great. Didn't partake of it but their continental breakfast at £4.95 seemed to represent excellent value for money. Excellent range of tea/coffee left in our room too."
"We only stayed the one night but would have no qualms about staying again. The family room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Best of all were the staff who were all very helpful and welcoming."
"We had a lovely stay at Driftwood B&B. From the moment we arrived, Peter, the owner, made us feel incredibly welcome. He kindly allowed us to check in early as the room was already available, which was a much-appreciated gesture after a long journey.
The room itself was spotlessly clean and tidy, with a newly refurbished bathroom that looked great and felt very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous selection of tea and coffee sachets, which added a nice touch.
Breakfast was simple but just right, with a good variety to choose from—including cereal, Weetabix, porridge, toast, fruit, butter, jam, and a selection of hot and cold drinks. Everything was fresh and well presented.
Overall, the service was excellent, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality. I would happily recommend Driftwood B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing and friendly place to stay. We’d definitely return!"
"Lovely friendly couple greeted us and checked if we need ed anything made the effort to come out and say good by and wish us satmfe journey couldn't fault it people some times judge my son as he has autism but was not even questioned here absolutely superb "
"Very hospitable staff and lovely breakfast room overlooking the sea . Prime location. I booked a single room as solo traveller which I can recommend to others. Room well proportioned as sometimes single rooms aren't with ample storage and easy to work hot efficient shower. Absolutely spotlessly clean. Nice decor with good positioned television and tho I'm not used to a single bed. All was forgotten as it was comfortable. Perhaps better than home. !! I used to sell beds so I do know !! Can recommend for solo traveller . Thank you to every body at aqua beach . "
"Got a family room (5people) with sea view which was freshly renovated clean and spacious. Newly furnished, new comfy mattresses large winfow facing the sea. Bathroom freshly renovated and modern with shower cubicle. The pictures in the listing were taken before renovation and doesn't do the justice. I was impressed with the room. Parking at the back of the property tight but available. Pool table, darts and evening entertainment in the basement. Pleasant stay just staff running around and hard to find in the reception. Perfect location "
