Steve is welcoming and runs a beautiful hotel. My room overlooked the sea,and was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely , fresh fruits, compôte , yoghurts, warm bread and croissants. Lovely coffee. All in all I would recommend Chapter 1 as a very civilised resting place.

The perfect location, with the perfect host!

Steve, the Narrator, is a perfect host. His level of service is unmatched, and his attention to detail made our stay perfect. The location, on the beach, is spot on as a starting point for exploring all Weymouth has to offer.

What a fantastic hotel, Steve was so so helpful and friendly. The hotel is so central, immaculately clean and very chic I think the word is. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again the next time we visit Weymouth. A truly lovely hotel.

A Perfect Place!

This hotel is our new favorite hotel in Weymouth ...and beyond! The place is smart and spotless and the owner, Steve, was the most convivial of hosts. The room was so very comfortable and pristine and we couldn't have been happier with any of it. Highly recommended!

The Hotel is immaculate and Stephen is warm and welcoming host. The Room had everything required and the Hotel Is in easy walking distance of all the restaurants & shops. Car Parking is not provided but that seems to be the general state of affairs. Weymouth. A very pleasant stay

This was an absolute gem. I was looking for a romantic overnight stay in Weymouth but wanted character, charm and good design, as well as the ability to walk out the door and go open water swimming in the sea. Steve was a great host, and our room was quite gorgeous. His breakfasts are just the best - and he’s got a proper coffee machine - we had seconds of our flat whites and cappuccinos. We’re definitely returning….

What A Find!!

Anyone who has stayed here before will certainly be a return! the place is spotless, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the location is awesome, our room was a sea view room with a spy glass which my daughter used instead of her telescope and we both had the most amazing stay. We will definitely return!

Charming hotel

What an amazing place to stay. The decor was beautifully designed. The host, Steve was so friendly and accommodating and made sure that we were given a room so that we could have plenty of space. The Italian breakfast was lovely, overlooking the sea. The location was very central to Weymouth beach and town. A charming place to stay. Definitely worth all the 5* reviews that have been written about it. Chapter 1 is worth a visit!
