"We checked into this space ABOVE a working hair salon after hours. The "secret" room is on the very top floor up a few flights of very narrow stairs. But when you (and your luggage) get up there, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The owner has thought of all the little things you might need. The bathroom is modern, the bed extremely comfortable. Our host was very responsive, helpful and kind. We really enjoyed wandering the streets of this small town and had a lovely meal at the hotel! ...

"I had a fabulous 3 night stay in Shepherd's Retreat. I absolutely loved the accommodation. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable and it had everything I needed. It was great having the enclosed outdoor space as I had my dog with me. The area was lovely with Ringwood forest within walking distance and Highcliffe beach was only 30 minutes drive away. I really enjoyed my stay, the hosts were very welcoming too and I look forward to visiting again soon."
