" A great one night stay as a family with 2 children. Staff were all helpful and friendly and food was good for both dinner and breakfast. Would stay again and would definitely recommend. "
"We enjoyed our stay at The Spice Ship. It was in a really good location for us and it had parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great and the Sunday roast was the best meal we had had on our 3 week holiday in England! Would stay there again if we are ever back in Weymouth."
"very conveniently located near durdle door. Beautiful shore and walking trails nearby. Since the place is new, some renovation was ongoing hence quite noisy. Staff was very friendly and cooperative. Would go there again!!"
"Lovely accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of Weymouth. Great room and breakfast! Parking, handy for the bus but also walkable in about 20-30minutes."
"The whole experience was fantastic. Mel & Trish couldn’t have made as feel more welcome or do enough for us. The guesthouse is a beautiful property, had everything you needed was in the room, we had a comfortable stay, great breakfast & choices. We will definitely return to stay at this guesthouse . Thank you for giving us a great stay Mel & Trish. "

"Was in town to go to the Tank Museum. Lovely property that was a 5 minute drive to the museum. There was an attached restaurant that was very reasonably priced and a nice continental breakfast that came with the room rate. The rooms were clean and functional. The doors were charming and opened with an old school key. For better or worse, the doors were also older wooden doors and not terribly good at keeping the outside noise out. "
"A wonderful place to stay. Large room, exceptional staff, wonderful hospitality. Just a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The icing on the cake is the food. Absolutely divine. An unforgettable experience."
Stable Conversion Near Lulworth Cove/Jurassic Coast
10/10 Excellent
"A lovely stable conversion in immaculate condition with a very pleasant owner Paul who makes every effort to make your stay enjoyable. All on one level if you dislike stairs and very comfortable beds and armchairs etc. Plenty of safe free parking and the property is inside the owners gated compound so we were happy about leaving valuables behind. The phone signal is weak here and in most of Dorset but free fast wi-fi is provided. The location is ideal if you are interested in: Dorchester, Wareham, Weymouth, Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Durdle door, T. E. Lawrence, Whistler's etched glass, Athelhampton House, The Tank museum, ... and the owner knows which pubs to eat at, quiet beaches, ... We were very happy here and I feel it would be ideal accomodation at any time except the pit of winter."
"The property was fantastic - had everything you need with a lovely tranquil setting and amazing views! The communication with the owner was good too - very helpful and attentive, and like how they helped with the hot tub!The site is also great with activities to do and brilliant facilities - the pool is brilliant, I just wish we’d had better weather! The staff are all so very friendly and service is excellent! Great holiday!"
