"It was the worst check in and overall experience I have ever had. They say check in desk is only open until 6 p.m. and they say check in is at 4 p.m. I was in town for a an event that began at 6 p.m. I arrived at the "hotel" at 2:45 p.m. There was no cars in the parking lot, I went to the front desk, the hotel was empty. The person said, no hello, just check is not until 4 p.m. I asked can I put my stuff down in my room (I had a clothes bag and two computer bags). She said no, check is not until 4 p.m. The place was vacant, there are a number of rooms in the "hotel", there was no reason she couldn't let me drop my bags in my room. She was awful. Now remember, they say that desk service ends at 6 p.m., so they give you 120 minutes to get any service at all, from 4 to 6. I asked again can I leave my stuff, she said you can leave it in the middle of the front desk area. I left my clothes bag but not my valuable computers. When I returned, the clothes bag was just sitting where I left it, there was an envelope in a basket that said my name and room number that anyone could take, it was bizarre. Parking lot was still empty, so noone was there. When I got to my room, the door was wide open, not closed, I thought Norman Bates was waiting for me. The furniture was broken, the bathroom doorknob was half off..Why anyone gives this place a decent rating is a lie and beyond me."

"This was a very wonderful and relaxing stay for my daughter and I. The staff at the Tavern were top notch and we ended up eating dinner there both nights we stayed. We loved the proximity to everything we wanted to do in the area. Will definitely stay again! "

"Wonderful and pleasant home. Perfect for our family of four's needs. Close to everything in Salem and super clean. The Master bed was beyond comfortable! Natalia was very easy to work with and would recommend using her as a host. Excellent overall experience, would highly recommend. "

"Interesting space with great kitchen setup, roomy, private, and reasonably convenient, and host was responsive immediately when there were problems at check-in (broken lock box and open front door upon arrival). However: the floor was very much not clean (as in, our socks were dirty after ten minutes inside without shoes), the thermostat did not work, and there is a pet door to an outside hallway that cannot be shut/locked. (There's also a lot of noise from the facility upstairs during the day, but this wasn't an issue after business hours.) Overall it was broadly fine, but would not choose this spot again."

"Unit door lock needs replacement. Timber wall along driveway needs to be removed. Bathroom door knob needs replacement. Thermostat needs to be updated could not warm unit up. Unit lacked needed supplies like tissues, paper towels trash bags, scissors and clothes hangers. "

"Trendy and witchy, with a sprinkle of high end luxury. This was a long awaited bucket list trip for my daughter and I. We visited in March, there was ample parking behind the building and check-in was clearly explained through text messages and easy to complete. This was our first experience with a virtual check-in. Entering the hotel was almost magical. The colour scheme, the decor and small and well thought out touches made a great first impression. The room and washroom were clean, spacious and had all the extras someone could need or think of. We were able to walk to and from most of the tourist attractions within twenty minutes. The only “complaint” we have is that even though we looked for a hotel that would provide (an included) breakfast, we only found out, once booked, that they no longer provided breakfast. A thirty dollar voucher to Jaho is provided, but that amount doesn’t get you very far over two nights. Nonetheless, we’d recommend a stay at The Coach House and we’ll certainly be back. "

"The apartment was super clean and in a great location. As a woman traveling solo, safety is important to me so I appreciated the extra locks! It was nice to have a roomy and comfortable couch and some extra throw blankets for relaxing in the evening. Host was quick to respond to questions. Great stay! "

"Have stayed here twice. Very convenient to the college, easy check-in. Both times we were here, there was a blizzard, but the host helped dig our car out and kept the property clean and passable. Would stay again. "
