Given the price for a room in this hotel, I was disappointed by the standard of maintenance. Room 443, the TV screen kept breaking up,the remote control didn't work properly, the shower leaked under the door and the flexible shower arm was coming apart revealing the plastic pipe inside. On the plus side, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Another point to note for those with mobility issues, its at least half a mile to the nearest tube station.

I recently had a great experience staying at the Hotel Rui Plaza London. The hotel and room were nice and clean and during the July heatwave in London, the AC worked well to keep me cool all day long. The best perk of this hotel is its close proximity to the London Victoria Station which contains both the Victoria train station and the Victoria Underground (Tube) platforms. It's a quick and safe one minute walk to/from the hotel to Victoria Station. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Rui Plaza again.

ROOM was so HOT

Quirky property. Spotlessly clean especially considering all the random ornaments etc on display. Excellent breakfast. Air con great and was well used as it was 34° in London when we stayed. Convenient for transport links. Bed comfy. Blackout curtains not so great. Thank goodness I had my eye mask.
