"This property and its host are simply outstanding. Located in the North Yorkshire countryside, the property is a converted barn, adjacent to the main farmhouse. While retaining the charm of the old structure, it has thoroughly modern kitchen and bathrooms. The is an en-suite bedroom on the ground floor as well as an en-suite bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bedroom and bath open to a small sitting area that overlooks the living space below. The main living area has a large television mounted on the wall, which is great for watching a film or two. There is also a wood burning stove.The hosts have ensured that the property is well-equipped with every accessory. The kitchen has beautiful cookware and a modern dishwasher. Plates and glassware are a joy. The property is beautifully decorated. The heating system keeps the space warm but ample blankets to make things cozy. Beds are extremely comfortable and the bedding first-rate.Views from the property are magnificent. Sheep and cattle dot the hillside; there are ample paths for walks. In the distance, in all directions, there are beautiful hills. We were greeted warmly by the hosts who explained the property and the area as well as answering our questions. They are attentive but also make sure to give guests their space."
