Perfect for a family of four, this light and bright beachside apartment offers an idyllic base for those looking to spend more time on the Yorkshire coast. In an excellent position above the West Cliff of historic Whitby, enjoy the cottage's proximity to many local amenities and its many glossy beaches.
Inside, this first-floor apartment is tastefully furnished in neutral tones, seaside decor and feels very homely. Crack open a bottle of something crisp from the fridge and savour it in the bright and airy lounge/diner upon the specially placed chairs. While away the hours while gazing out across luscious views stretching from Whitby Abbey to Sandsend. When tummies start to rumble, whip up something delicious in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. Boasting everything needed for a comfortable stay, this kitchen is a joy to use. When you're not losing yourselves in the spectacular views, catch up on some sleep in one of two king-size bedrooms (one of which is a zip-and-link), where you will also find TVs for those lazy morning lie-ins. Freshen up in either the en-suite shower room or the bathroom.
You could easily leave your car keys well alone on this idyllic beach getaway. Enjoy days out on the golden sands of Whitby, Sandsend and Upgang Beach, all within 3 miles of the property, before browsing in the independent boutiques and shops on the seafront. For those keen to stretch their legs, hop aboard the Cleveland Trail, where impressive clifftops, dramatic scenery and magical woodland offer a fantastic setting for a challenging trek. Recharge with locally caught fish and chips on the seafront and sumptuous ice creams from one of the many parlours.
