"We had to change rooms because our door would not lock and toilet would not flush. We waited an hour for maintenance but no one came, we had booked a meal so had to leave our room unlocked. We returned 2 hours later and still door could not lock or loo didn't flush. After discussion on front desk ( no manager available) we were given another room. This one was excellent."

"This was a beautiful hotel to spend a night and catch up with a friend. I am sorry I didn’t have time to explore the grounds and surrounding countryside. Everything was clean and the staff were efficient and friendly. Our only negative was that the night clashed with a huge wedding party and we were asked to move from the terrace which was the only warm place to sit outside on a beautiful Summer evening. This was the night before not the day of the wedding! None of the wedding guests were using the terrace either which was the upsetting thing."

"I stumbled on this little gem for a work stay ... but fell in love with hit as soon as i walked in - the staff are SO friendly and helpful, made you feel welcome straight away. The food is fantastic, i recommend Monday curry nights - unreal ! Breakfast was delish as well. My room was gorgeous, country vibes with a bit of glam, antique looking wardrobes, a fan, lots of coffee and tea and fresh milk ! I cannot wait to come back"
