A beautifully comfortable two-bedroom river home located on the Suwanee River and nestled among the trees. Enjoy charming views of the Historic Suwannee River, directly across from the Stephen Foster State Park. Experience what Florida natives must have seen during their time in a completely unspoiled Florida wilderness. The stairs lead right down to the river's edge, providing the perfect place to relax and fish. Swimming is at your own risk. The spacious porch is ideal for a quiet afternoon or evening. Unwind on the porch swing and watch the river go by. Feeling energetic? Try your hand at several complimentary games of darts, billiards, pool, or even corn hole. Cook up a delicious feast by utilizing the gas grill or full kitchen inside, complete with utensils and other necessary items. All spaces, indoor and out, connect to a central speaker system that can connect to bluetooth to play your favorite sounds. Truly a great getaway for short or longer stays. With this property being on the river the well water does fluctuate and at times there is a sulfur odor. We do have a carbon filter but we recommend drinking bottled water if this bothers you.

The River House in White Springs

Excellent place to stay while visiting White Springs or hiking the Florida Trail. Beautiful settings under Oak trees with overlook of Suwanne river. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing.

Beautiful home and area!

We had a great time at this home away from home. Very comfortable and it has has everything you need for a great vacation. Our Dog enjoyed the area as well having lots of room to run and play. We will be back.

Relaxing stay on the river

Great place to relax or play darts, pool, axe throwing or visit the local sights. House was clean and in great order. Everything we needed for our stay. We will be back and bring friends and family.

We had a very good stay and the river and the surroundings were beautiful. We were very satisfied with everything. We had two more guests staying for two nights on the coach in the living room, but the madras were litle thin and not so good for sleeping.

Wild Florida Race Trip

This location and property could not have been any more perfect for three ladies who were running a 50k at Stephen Foster park right up the street. The house was comfortable, clean and perfect for the three of us.

Absolutely gorgeous house and decor and decks. I will recommend to everyone. I enjoyed watching the nature and there's plenty of activities to do at the property. I watched a hawk carrying a snake to the tree top.Loved the whole trip

Wonderful place!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived! We didn't realize how close the river was to the property. It was very serene and relaxing. There were plenty of places to sit and visit with friends both inside and out. Everything was very clean and well-stocked. The king-size bed was very comfy and I slept very well. We didn't have time to shoot pool, but that would have been fun. We did do some axe-throwing, but the technique eluded us and we weren't very successful. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

Wow what a great piece of property! I loved how it was remote and quiet. It had a huge yard for the dog to run and lots of fun activities for my husband & I. The puppy loved swimming in the river and there's so many things to do nearby during the day. The cabin was very nicely remodeled and decorated. The only downside it was dirty. Lots of dust on surfaces & old food stains in microwave. The throw blankets on couch were stinky. But all of those things can be fixed and we'd love to come back! It was an awesome experience. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful river house

We (my boyfriend, myself and our 5 year old blackmouth cur) loved our quick weekend stay at “The River House”! This house was exactly as pictured on its listing, had a beautiful, large deck/outside space (both covered and uncovered) and the inside of the house was so cute. It was quiet and serene, but right off hwy 75 for easy access! While we didn’t use the pool table/darts, if we had more time there we would have definitely spent some time in the screened in game room over looking the river. The river bank was out for us during our stay which allowed our dog to get her water fix in! (In their intro letter they do warn you about the river level and to monitor it as they do not have a dock on the water, just stairs to the bank). Chris was very responsive and allowed us to get a noon check out. They were also very accommodating with allowing us to have some friends come visit for the day! 10/10 place, would definitely book again, hopefully for longer so we can really enjoy the place! Thank you!

Great river house!

We stayed here for a few days in November, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Florida does have a fall on the Suwannee! The trees along the river were turning colors and falling. The house was perfect for relaxing out on the deck or screened-in porch, cooking meals, and enjoying the scenery. The Bluetooth sound system is great! We are music lovers and appreciated having built-in speakers connected throughout the living room and outside on the porch and deck. We played tunes while sitting around the firepit outside, which came stocked with wood. Likewise, the kitchen came stocked with utensils, pots and pans, and coffee, among other essentials. My only complaint is that the grill didn't work for us — it only heated to 300 degrees, so it needs to be serviced. I was disappointed because we brought stuff to grill. We were also surprised that there's a close neighbor since the listing emphasized seclusion, but he's very nice, and the place still feels secluded. We definitely plan to stay here again in the future!

Really great experience staying here! So peaceful, had everything we needed. Plenty to do here with billiards overlooking the river, darts, axe throwing etc. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy the views of the river and nature. Host was great with very timely communication and super easy check-in and check-out. Will definitely return!
