"Amazing host, lovely cottage, and a home away from home!Dave and Helen were super helpful - messaged us before we arrived, provided a lot of helpful info around the area, including shopping and dining. Dave made sure we had everything when we arrived and was available thru out. Brilliant host and we will def be coming back to this charming cottage."

"The rooms were extremely basic but clean, and the hotel was conveniently located for where we wanted to be. The rooms and the dining area were way too hot and couldnt be moderated and the beds, pillows and duvet were also basic ajd very uncomfortable. The breakfast was basic but sufficient "

"Very nice little terraced cottage on a quiet road with easy on road parking. Cottage is well appointed, very well equipped kitchen, lovely deep bath on first floor bathroom. Nice log burner, nice to have Sky TV and welcome dog treats on arrival. Downstairs shower/toilet as well.Back garden and front are secure for dogs, gate on road to stop dogs running out house straight onto road.Stairs inside house narrow as befits age and style of construction but steep in places."

"Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast and evening meal. Lovely garden which we sat out in to have drinks. Plenty of parking. In a beautiful village which was a perfect location for the area we wanted to explore. Would stay again and would recommend."

"I arrived at the property and it was immediately clear that the bedsheets had not been changed. There were muddy paw prints and visible dog hairs all over the bedding. I contacted the host straight away, who offered to change the bedding but insisted it was “clean, just stained” and that this had been missed by the cleaners. However, if the bedding was clean, it should not have had dog hair on it. This raised serious concerns about the overall cleanliness of the property. If something as basic as fresh bedding had not been done, I did not feel confident that other items such as towels or surfaces had been properly cleaned either. As a result, I did not feel comfortable staying and had to leave immediately and find alternative accommodation. Despite this, the host has refused to issue a refund, even though I was unable to stay due to the condition of the property on arrival. Very disappointing experience and not what I expect when booking paid accommodation"
